Have you ever noticed different aromas of tea?

Matcha (抹茶) which is used in Japanese tea ceremony and Funmatsu tea powder (粉末緑茶) that we have seen and heard are different.

On May 8-10, 2015, SAKURAJIMA had the opportunity to welcome two green tea buyers from the UK, Mr.

Kagoshima Cha is the tea which can be harvested earliest in Japan. This year, the harvest started one week earlier since the weather became warm quickly since mid-April.

On April 27, 2014, SAKURAJIMA attended the tea ceremony and the introduction of new tea in the “100-yen Green Tea Shop” event the Kagoshima international airport.

On May 21-23, 2014, SAKURAJIMA was one of the teams from Kagoshima to present the city’s famous and new products at the THAIFEX World of Food Asia 2014 which was held at Impact, Muang Thong Thani.

On Monday, November 25, 2013, SAKURAJIMA was invited to become the MC of the training about tea export that the provincial agricultural office organized for Kagoshima Prefectural Tea Industry Woman’s Group under the topic of “Thailand and Kagoshima Bonded by “Kagoshima Cha”.

It was the first time that SAKURAJIMA had an opportunity to meet and talk with our customers directly at the event called “Taste of Japan 2013” which was held from October 16 to November 12, 2013 at Central Food Hall at Central World branch and Chidlom branch.

If you compare the bottom picture of the first generation of young tea leaves that were cut in spring which was taken on April 29 and the picture of the third generation of young tea leaves that were cut in summer which was taken on August 25, 2013, do you see the difference?
